Topsham Ferryman’s Swim – Dr David Evans raises £150
Over 78 swimmers entered the Topsham Ferryman’s Swim recently to raise much needed funds in conjunction with the Estuary League of Friends, to help buy a wheel chair accessible vehicle for use in our local community.
Amongst the swimmers completing the mile and a half course, was our own Dr Dave Evans, who raised over £150 through the kind sponsorship of the clinics staff and clients.
Altogether the event, which gains in popularity every year, raised over £5000

THE EXMOOR BEAST HAS BEEN TAMED!
The Exmoor Beast ( 100km cycle ride) has been tamed by our intrepid team Marc, Ali and Darren. Out of 1721 riders only 1088 had the courage to venture over the start line and 920 finished!
It was a ride to remember, with 40 mph head winds for the first half and rain for the first four hours but eventually the sun came out to welcome our brave riders over the finish line.
Many thanks to everyone who sponsored our team who are collecting for CLIC the charity supporting families affected by childhood leukeamia.
We are still collecting in the last of the sponsorship money with charity tins in both clinics . We will confirm just how much was raised for this worthy cause very shortly.
