CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
We at the Exmouth Chiropractic clinic and Exe Pilates know how good our services and treatments are but don't just take our word for it.

Here are several recent client and patient testimonials for those considering Chiropractic treatment or joining one of our Pilates classes -

CHIROPRACTIC

“Chiropractic is the reason that I am still walking. After going the through the 'sausage machine' of the hospital system and not fitting into any of their boxes, I was left to get on with it. The Exmouth Chiropractic clinic’s treatment has given me the mobility that I now have and the ability to manage the pain more effectively.”

Sandy Harrup

“After a few treatments I found a great improvement to an on-going problem. Everyone at the clinic is always helpful and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending the practice to other friends and relatives.”

Peter Robinson

“I suffered from low back pain on a number of occasions and eventually, when it was particularly bad, a friend recommended that I visit the Exmouth Chiropractic Clinic. My Chiropractor was extremely knowledgeable and professional and I certainly felt that I was in good hands. After just a few visits my problems were over . I now visit once in a while just to make sure that everything is as it should be. As well as the effective treatment, you have the whole package with friendly and helpful staff at reception.”

PILATES
“Exe Pilates has made it possible for me to enjoy life again. All the little things I like to do, walking, cycling and horse events. Why? Because at exe Pilates we are taught to use our bodies correctly. Our instructor Alison Martineau is a very professional person who runs friendly and disciplined classes from beginners to advanced level.

I work hard to keep my body fit and well but the real thanks must go to Exe Pilates who keep those prepared to give the time to well being and to keeping fit and healthy.
I can’t thank you enough.”

THE EXMOOR BEAST IS TAMED AGAIN! Raising £740 for Exmouth & Lympstone Hospicare
Our cycling team, Dr Marc Martineau from the Exmouth Chiropractic Clinic, Alison Martineau from Exe Pilates and Darren Bradley of The Massage Clinic again successfully faced the annual, gruelling challenge of the Exmoor Beast cycling event last October, completing the 100km ride over the hills of Exmoor raising £740 for Exmouth and Lympstone Hospicare.

The Hospice provides support for local people with life threatening illnesses such as cancer and support for their carers. The centres many services include nursing and complementary therapy, providing equipment, providing transport to and from hospital appointments, a carers support group and bereavement drop-in centre. The centre's running costs are in the region of £250,000 per year and as an independent local charity, they rely on the generosity of their supporters.

Our intrepid cyclists are already hoping to better their times next year and would like to thank all the clients and patients for their sponsorship. The Hospice can be contacted on 01395 224089

THE MASSAGE CLINIC Biomechanical Assessment & Gait Analysis
THE MASSAGE CLINIC
Biomechanical Assessment & Gait Analysis

Many muscular and skeletal issues stem from the way in which you walk or stand.
Careful evaluation of our standing posture and our gait can provide us and you with vital information necessary to make a positive and long term result.

A Biomechanical Assessment involves a thourough evaluation of the feet, legs and body position, both whilst standing, walking and running if necessary. It examines the function and alignment of the feet and associated joints, assesses where the points of balance are maintained and where pressure is being exerted, in order to track down any imbalances. During assessment the therapist will look carefully at the way your body moves to establish if the joints and the muscles are working efficiently.

A biomechanical assessment can potentially provide clues to the root of any long-term issues – and is often beneficial if the cause of pain has previously been difficult to establish. From a biomechanical investigation, with an analysis of the patient’s gait, we can identify any abnormalities that currently cause or will lead to injuries.

The analysis of the patient’s gait is conducted using a Footwork ProAm pressure plate – an advanced piece of equipment which examines the patient’s static and moving posture via over 4000 sensors.
This plate is one of the most advanced in the industry and therefore highly accurate. The subsequent data is then analysed by one of our skilled and experienced practitioners to provide a complete picture of the patient’s movement pattern.

Cost of biomechanical assessment with computerised gait analysis is £45
